Trained as an architect, I’ve noticed over the years that I’m particularly attracted by interior textiles, colour compostions and textures. And that I want to create something with purpose and beauty with my own hands.

I have been weaving, in some form or another, for the last six years. Working for several years only on a Riggid Heddle Loom using my own handspun yarns, I slowly progressed into classical weaving over the last year.

Today, I create unique, handwoven textiles for interiors, especially rugs and cushions. I believe that interior textiles play a major role in creating a home of comfort and serenity. They contribute a tactile element, texture and warmth to any room, no other artwork could compete.

My work is inspired by traditional Scandinavian and Japanese weaving with a modern, minimal colour palette using natural fibres.
